11th graders are winners of Compost for a Cookie Contest

For almost two weeks, students brought in compost from the cafeteria and home to add to the school compost operation.  With the four classes competing to see who could bring in the most compost by pound, the 11th graders came out as the clear victors.  With almost 200 pounds added to our tumblers, the garden will certainly shine all the more next spring.  Sometime before the winter break, all 11th graders will be treated to an array of home-baked cookies.
