HSAS Annual Hike takes place in early March

This year our hikers made it to the top!  After being foiled last year by ridiculously deep snow, our intrepid hikers made another go for bagging the summit of Mount Taurus.  There was still significant snow to slow our walkers – with a fair amount of slipping and sliding, but the snow just wasn’t as deep, and the temperature not as cold.  All hikers were rewarded with great views of the Hudson River valley on the peak.  After engaging in some snow ball fights, the group headed down to Cold Spring for pizza and a chance to take off wet socks.
