HSAS students participate in nationwide Walkout and March for Our Lives

Many HSAS students chose to participate in a seventeen minute long nationwide walkout to pay their respects to the seventeen high school students that died due to gun violence in Florida.  Joining with students from Bronx Science and the Walton campus at Harris Field, HSAS students walked out of school with signs and a strong sense that their voices needed to be heard on the topic of gun law reform.

On March 24, dozens of HSAS students participated in the March for Our Lives in both NYC and DC.  Here are some links to video clips that capture HSAS participation.  (photos thanks to Elie Rha)
