The 2025-26 HSAS PSAL athletic season came to an exciting and memorable conclusion with the 22nd Annual HSAS PSAL Sports Award Night. Nearly 200 student-athletes, family members, and friends packed the Lovinger Theater to celebrate another outstanding year of Senators athletics.

The evening recognized the commitment, dedication, and excellence of nearly 30 student-athletes who earned special honors for their accomplishments both on and off the field of play.

Four major awards highlighted the evening. The two PTA Awards for Academic and Athletic Excellence were presented to Javier Belnavis and Ophelia Clark-Wade, recognizing their exceptional achievements in the classroom and in competition.

The prestigious Wingate Awards, presented by the PSAL to the school’s Most Outstanding Overall Athletes, were awarded to Angel Mota and Myla Choi, honoring their remarkable contributions and success throughout their high school careers.

The celebration concluded with a spectacular slideshow created by senior Esther Zhang, which captured the unforgettable moments, achievements, and memories of the past year and brought the crowd to its feet.

What an incredible year it has been for HSAS Athletics! Congratulations to all of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for another outstanding season. We cannot wait to do it all again in 2026-27. Have a wonderful summer, and Go Senators!
