On Wednesday night, the American Studies Senators opened their season with a 42-30 victory over ALT. Bouba Diallo (’25) had an incredible game, scoring 11 points and helping to push the tempo. Spiros Kapsokavadis (’25) asserted himself to be a dominant point guard and had 18 points on the court.
The Senators also played on Friday night against Comprehensive Model School. Although the Senators lost the game 46-42, they fought incredibly hard throughout the game. Captain Sebastian Ramos (’24) stepped up, scoring 13 points. With two minutes remaining in the game, Ace Andonov (’25) and Angel Mota (’25) put the game back in reach, scoring a quick bucket. The Senators next game will be Friday, December 8.
Girl’s Basketball scrimmaged with IN Tech Academy following a non appearance by the referees made the game unofficial. The Senators out scored the IN Tech Panthers 24 -4, Their 1st Home Game is Thursday December 7th as they host Inwood Academy! Parents and Family member are encouraged to come out and support our teams.
