The boys’ tennis season ended in heartbreaking fashion with a close 3-2 loss to Leon Goldstein High School. The City Championship match occurred at Queens College. The arena had a fantastic, high-energy feel, and intensity and tension filled the air.
“This entire season was an incredible experience for our boy’s Tennis Team, and it culminated with the city playoffs in which our guys just raised the level of their game,” said Head Coach Scott Bitterman. “We are so proud of the entire team.”
The Senators finished 13-1 and captured the Bronx 1A League Championship. The Senators will return the entire team for next season, so expectations are high.
