Girl’s Varsity Tennis defeated Bard High School in a close match by a score of 3-2. First singles player Sophie Brettschneider got the Senators on the board with a dominating 10-1 victory. Claire Catena followed up with a decisive 10-2 win. Bard, however, won two matches, scoring 2-2 heading into the pivotal 1st doubles match. In that match, Isabella Chernobelsky and Kiera Hegarty teamed up and won 10-0, clinching a 3-2 victory for the Senators. The Senators return to action this week with matches on October 7th vs. Stuyvesant at 4 pm at Home and October 9th at Hunter High School.
