The American Studies Men’s XC team began their season on the road this weekend by accepting an invite to the Suffern Bear Mountain Invitational at Bear Mountain State Park. The 5k trail included a portion of the Appalachian Trail and it included the steepest hill the team will see all season. Jack McCurry led the men’s team with a time of 16:34 and the Varsity Team had an average 5k time of 19:25 overall!
This week’s Varsity and JV teams are entirely made up of Seniors, most of whom are our first FOUR YEAR athletes to represent our school since 2019. This was a great start to their final season.
Team members stand in a back row while other kneel in a front row holding a school banner. Runners pass one another on a field.
