While the Cross Country season ended on November 8th, our own Boys XC Team Captain Declan Olds continued to train as he was one of only 12 athletes citywide to make this year’s PSAL All Star team.
Declan raced at Waopinger Falls, NY on Saturday 11/22 against the best in all of New York State. He placed his name and our school’s name in lights (see picture) with his sub 19 minute performance. Founder and Coach of our school’s running program Morgan Elinson shared that Declan’s performance “is something that the whole team took pride in making happen” as they trained with him during the post season. Coach Elinson is predicting at least another two to three athletes will likely make the All Star Team next year.
