The HSAS Girls Tennis Team continues to roll! The Senators extended their unbeaten streak to five matches with two impressive victories, defeating Randolph High School 5–0 and Brandies HS 4–1!
It was a particularly special week for freshman Inna Choi and senior Sasha Turner, as both players picked up their first career PSAL singles victories against Randolph! The two then teamed up as the Senators’ #1 doubles team against Brandies and delivered an impressive 8–2 victory.
Junior Captain Chloe Wang was also in top form, earning two big singles victories. Chloe opened the week with a commanding 8–1 win over Randolph before following it up with a dominant 8–2 victory against Brandies.
The Senators have another huge week ahead, with three matches on the schedule! HSAS will hit the road first to take on Adlai Stevenson and Harry S. Truman, before returning home on Friday, October 9th, for a very special Senior Day matchup against rival Eleanor Roosevelt.
We hope to see a huge crowd of Senators fans out at the Oval to cheer on our team and, most importantly, celebrate our amazing seniors! Come out, make some noise, and help us send our seniors off in style!
