The HSAS Girls Tennis Team posted its first League win of the season when it defeated Lab United High School by a score of 5-0 on September 23rd at Fred Johnson Park in Washington Heights. The Class of 2025 showed out with Seniors Sophie Brettschneider, Joyce Lee, Claire Catena, Kiera Hegarty, and Maya Stone all collecting victories. Later in the week, the Senators lost a heartbreaker to defending City Runner-up Beacon High School by a score of 3-2. Doubles highlighted the match wins at the 1st and 2nd and included an exhibition doubles victory by Ella Oksoy and Lucy Poots. The Senators return home on Tuesday, October 1, to take on Bard High School.
