The Girl’s Tennis team continued winning with two impressive victories last week. First, they defeated defending PSAL Champion Hunter High School by a score of 4-1. Second singles, Sophie Brettschneider, played a tremendous match en route to an 8-4 win. Our first doubles — Sabrina Silbert and Joyce Lee — came back from a 3-1 deficit, rallying off seven straight games and an 8-3 victory.
The next day, the Senators traveled to Manhattan to take on Lab-Museum High School. The Senators rolled to a 5-0 victory. Felica Einhorn led the charge, cruising to an 8-0 victory. Maya Stone and Evalina Lock played dominating doubles, leading to an 8-0 victory.
The Senators have three matches next week, going on the road Monday against Stuyvesant
