On Tuesday, May 20th, the tennis team delivered a stellar performance, defeating longtime rivals Environmental Studies 4–1 in the City Quarter-finals. Doubles pair Senior Isaac Lipman and Freshman York Douglas set the tone with a dominant 10–0 win. Rising Star Freshman Ben Studness impressed once again, cruising to a 10–2 win at Singles 3.
The momentum continued as the Senators swept Beach Channel 5–0 in the semi-finals held at Queens College. Senior Santiago Efron was unstoppable at singles 2, winning 10–0. In doubles 2, Junior Ezra DiPietra and Senior Adam Ripp powered through with a strong 10–2 victory.
With these decisive wins, the Senators now advance to the City Championship match against Leon Goldstein. The final showdown will take place at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 27th, at Queens College. Come out and cheer on the team as they battle for the title!
