The HSAS Softball team kept their winning streak alive and advanced to the NYC 1A Semifinals with a 13-3 victory over Baruch College HS in the quarterfinals. Julia Fried pitched a complete game for the Senators, giving up only two hits and striking out nine.
Avery Sammarco did it again, producing another bases-loaded triple to break the game open. Nathalia Dominguez also had a big game at the plate for the Senators, going two for two and scoring four runs.
The Senators’ next game is the NYC Semi-Finals this Wednesday, June 5th, at 4:00 PM at Randall’s Island.
