The Senators closed out the regular season in tremendous fashion, celebrating Senior Day with an emphatic 21-4 victory over Bathgate. It was a memorable afternoon filled with big performances, outstanding energy, and a fitting celebration for the team’s graduating seniors.

Senior Isabella Diaz delivered a complete-game masterpiece in the circle, going the distance while allowing just 4 runs on 5 hits and striking out 3 to lead the Senators to victory. The offense exploded from the very beginning and was powered by several outstanding performances from the senior class.

Mary Greene sparked the offense and the base-paths all afternoon, finishing 1-for-2 with 2 runs scored and an incredible 5 stolen bases. Avery Sammarco continued her red-hot season at the plate, going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and 4 stolen bases in another dominant performance.

With momentum building at the perfect time, the Senators now turn their attention to the postseason. HSAS will hit the road on Tuesday to open playoff action against the Young Women’s School from Astoria, Queens.

Good luck to the Senators as they begin their playoff journey — let’s go Senators!
