The Girl’s Tennis team had a big week with three matches. The Senators started the week getting their second win of the season when they defeated Eleanor Roosevelt High School by a score of 4-1. First career singles highlighted the match wins for senior Jolie Futterman and junior Sophie Brettschneider.
Later in the week, in front of a great crowd, the Senators fell in close matches to PSAL powers Bronx Science and Beacon. Juniors Claire Catena and Keira Hegarty highlighted the Beacon match, winning in doubles by a score of 10-4. The Senators are currently 2-2 on the season. They return to action when they take on Hunter High School at Central Park.
