The New York Historical Society is bringing its collection and its experts to the High School of American Studies this Spring. One time a month all 9th grade US History sections are taught by visiting presenter Ms. Morgan Haney. Ms. Haney brings in artifacts, documents and multi media presentations to compliment our existing curriculum. These visits are the result of a generous grant and a partnership between our school and the NYHS, Topics include “New York Before the Arrival of Europeans”, our “City and the Revolution” to the “Erie Canal and The Empire City.”
