The Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams spent their Mother’s Day at Legendary Icahn Stadium, home of the Bronx Borough Track and Field championships. Both teams were well represented. Highlights on the girl’s side included Sally Roth finishing 2nd in the 2000-meter Steeplechase, Abagail Theriault finishing 3rd in the 1500-meter race walk, and Haley Rodriguez finishing 2nd in the 1500-meter run. All three qualified for the City Championships to be held at the end of the month. There were also strong showings by Julia Cooper, 1500-Meter, and Tishya Mackie, 800-Meter, who set personal bests in their events.

On the Boy’s side of things, the 4 x 800-meter relay team (Michael Dogue, Alex Leka, Isaac Allen, Declan Olds) finished 4th in the Bronx. Isaac Allen set a personal best in the 400-meter Hurdles, finishing 5th and Henry Mayne-Chang captured the Bronx Championship, winning the Javelin with a throw of 112.3 Meters. Congrats to all our participants!
