On April 20, we were honored to be visited by Santiago Villalba, the Consul General of Argentina. The ambassador spoke about Argentina’s history and, in honor of Women’a History Month, about Las Madres y Las Abuelas de la Plaza del Mayo. One of Las Madres even recorded a special message for the students of HSAS. Congratulations to Camila Slatopolsky and the members of the Spanish Honor Society and Latinx Club for organizing the event. We were also pleased to be joined by Natalia Acevedo, the Deputy Consul General of Argentina, by Carolyne Quintana, the DOE’s Deputy Chancellor of Teaching and Learning, and by James Martino, from the DOE’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
